Description
Llangwarren Bridge is a narrow vernacular bridge, possibly dating from the 18th century, that carries a minor road from the A40 over the Afon Cleddau. The bridge is constructed of rubble stone and features a humped design with four small round arches, each with recessed voussoirs. On the south side, the parapet has edge-on stone coping of uncertain date and a cut-water located between the third and fourth arches. The north side has undergone extensive repairs, including partial refacing and the fourth arch being partly rebuilt in brick. Additionally, there are two 20th-century cut-waters on this side, and the parapet features concrete coping.
