Description
High Toch Farmhouse is a two-storey building dating from the late 19th century, facing south towards a lawned area with hedges. The symmetrical front features three late 19th century sash windows, each with four panes and exposed frames. The front elevation is covered in slate hanging with slightly diminishing courses, while the sides and rear are constructed from uncoursed limestone rubble, incorporating larger stones for the quoins. The roof is slated, and there are end chimneys on the front range, with the left chimney serving the kitchen.
The house has a double-pile plan, with two gables visible on the side elevations. The front span is both greater and higher than the rear. Additionally, twelve-pane sash windows are present on the east elevation in both the front and rear sections. There is a small walled yard at the rear of the property.
