Description
Cwm Dylluan is a two-storey building with a four-window front, constructed from shaley rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. It features stone end stacks with brick quoins and a similar ridge stack to the right of the center. The ground floor openings have segmental yellow brick heads, while the upper storey windows are positioned under the eaves. There is a doorway to the right of the center, beneath the stack, which contains a boarded door with an overlight. To the left of the center, there are early 21st-century French doors made of hardwood with small panes, replacing a window. The outer units have early 21st-century hardwood casements with small panes. On the upper storey, there is a two-light casement to the left, and three 20th-century metal windows to the center and right.
The rear elevation has three windows. The right half features an early 21st-century lean-to conservatory that wraps around the south gable end, built with wooden glazing on a high random stone plinth and containing double doors. Inside the conservatory, there is a small-pane hardwood door leading into the right unit of the house, flanked by two hardwood casement windows with small panes. To the far left of the elevation is a mid-20th-century wooden casement. The upper storey has three early 21st-century small-pane casements, all under gablets with weather-boarded fronts. The south gable features an early 21st-century wooden casement offset to the right.
Inside, the hall is located to the left of the lobby entrance and is accessed through a planked door. The ceiling features a deeply chamfered and stopped spine beam. There is a fireplace to the north with a large timber lintel, opposite which is a fine post-and-panel partition. A doorway to the left of the partition leads into the south unit, which is now a kitchen and has a stone fireplace with a large cambered timber lintel. The ceiling in this room has been lowered slightly and features plain joists. The north room has not been seen.
