Description

In 2 detached sections: The shorter section curves around the S end of the stockhouse and to L of wall was formerly a gate. From the opposite gate pier the wall then follows W side of West Stockhouse and curves around the N side. Of rubble stone with dressed copings and buttresses on the exterior face. On the N side the coping is swept up in stages; the southern section ends in an octagonal pier with pyramidal cap. On the yard side, the wall is faced in brick in its lower half.
