Description
The outbuilding at Cil-cewydd Mill is a single-storey structure built in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, resting on a chamfered stone plinth, and features rock-faced and margin dressed stone quoins and dressings. The roof is made of slate and the building has two bays.
On the north gable, there is a 28-pane iron framed window, with the center four panes being pivot hung, set within an opening that has a round brick arch with stone dressings. The south gable end contains a framed and boarded door, which is also set within a round-headed arch. A ridge ventilator is present on the roof.
Inside, the building has a suspended timber floor and the walls are finished with matchboarded dado up to a height of 2.2 meters. The roof structure features an open haunched king-post truss with raking struts.
