Workshops attached to nos. 3-6, Glanrafon, Llanwddyn

The workshops attached to numbers 3-6 Glanrafon in Llanwddyn are a planned symmetrical terrace of four two-storey cottages with workshops, built in the 19th century. They are constructed from uncoursed slightly rock-faced local slate masonry and feature slate roofs, timber bargeboards, and red brick chimneys. The first and last cottages serve as crosswings to the group, each with gables at the front and rear that project slightly. The second and third cottages have lower eaves, with their upper windows at the front and rear being through-eaves dormers.

Each cottage has a pair of 12-pane wood casements, which are separated by a stone mullion above and below, although they are not aligned and the upper windows are slightly smaller. These windows have stone sills and concrete lintels. The front door is a six-panel design, topped with a simple canopy supported by brackets.

The adjacent workshop is L-shaped and similar in style, featuring a hip-roofed rear range with metal-dressed hips. It has a pair of casements at the front that match those of the cottages. On the east elevation, there are double doors on the left, timber boarding above, a small hatch, a heck door, and a small-pane window.

Additionally, there is a single-storey workshop annexe to the right (east) of the terrace.
