Description

The Old Rectory is a large two-storey Tudor-Gothic house with a multi-gabled attic, featuring stuccoed elevations and a slate roof. String courses define the separate floors of the building. The front elevation is symmetrically composed, showcasing a mix of sash windows, square-headed Tudor-style windows with mullions and transoms, and pointed Gothic openings, all with small-pane glazing. The square-headed openings are adorned with hood-moulds. A projecting two-storey porch at the front features a 4-centred arch entrance. The house is topped with paired yellow brick chimney stacks that have moulded caps. Inspection was not possible at the time of the resurvey.
