Description

Ivy House is a 2-storey cottage built of rubble stone, featuring a slate roof with coped gables. It has a brick chimney stack on the right and a rendered stack on the left. The openings are positioned towards the left side of the building. The off-centre doorway has a stone segmental head and a boarded door with iron studs, which includes a small glazed panel. The windows on either side of the door have wedge lintels on the lower storey and are located beneath the eaves on the upper storey. These windows are 2-light casements. On the left gable end, there is a single-storey rendered projection. The rear of the cottage has two windows that are similar to those at the front.
