Description
Dingle is a cruck-built house, likely dating from the 17th century, with three bays. The exterior is constructed of rubble stonework and covered by a slate roof, with a substantial chimney stack rising above the south gable end. The windows are casement type. A small extension is visible on the east side. All of the original doors and windows have been replaced.
Internally, the house was reported in 1976 to have three cruck timbers, with two of these being visible. One original partition remains, featuring pegged oak planking. A beam runs axially through the house, with an ogee stop. A two-door post and panel partition is present, along with Tudor-style door heads.
