Description
The sheds located at the rear of the Almshouses date from the 19th century and consist of two single-storey blocks that are connected in the middle by a pair of contemporary gates and gatepiers. The shed blocks are built from whitened rubble and feature mono-pitch slate roofs. Each block has four plain boarded entrances at the front, along with a segmentally-arched stone Ty Bach entrance at the left and right ends of the respective blocks. In between the two shed blocks, there are plain stone gatepiers that support contemporary wrought iron half-gates. These gates are designed with scrolled ends, a serpentine top rail, and plain railings. The gates provide access to the rear gardens belonging to the almshouses.
