Description
The former dairy-house at Bryn Mwllach is a small building from the late 19th century, featuring a rectangular plan. It is constructed of slate rubble and has a slated, gabled roof, with some areas of original render still visible. On the northwest gable face, there is a recessed 16-pane original sash window. The southwest side has a 20th-century recessed boarded door, and there is a small ventilator on the southeast gable. Notably, the northeast side displays an external iron waterwheel, which was formerly overshot and equipped with wooden paddles; it was made by J and E Roberts from the Llanrwst Foundry, as indicated by raised letters. The interior was not inspected during the survey conducted in November 1996.
