Description
Liverpool House is a two-storey house and shop constructed of rubble masonry and faced with dressed, coursed stonework. It features a slate roof with advanced eaves and verges, and a rectangular stone stack with a dripstone and capping at the south gable. The house is located at the left (north) end and has a two-window range with a doorway offset to the right, which contains a panelled door beneath a shallow overlight. The windows are slightly recessed, consisting of two-pane horned sashes with margin panes and slate sills. Above the shop front at the right (south) end of the range, there is a single centrally placed first-floor window. The shop includes a recessed central half-glazed door with an overlight and flanking two-pane shop windows, along with a slate-roofed verandah supported by slender iron piers across its width. The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey.
