Description
2 Fron Dirion Terrace is a late Georgian building with Greek Revival influences, standing two storeys tall with modern attics. The front features two windows and is rendered, adorned with large panelled pilasters that have heavily ornamented capitals and an entablature decorated with floral dentils and stucco wreaths. The roof is slate, and the rendered chimney stacks at both ends have arched headed panels. The left gable end has wide eaves, while the right gable end features an arched headed window and projecting pilasters at both ends.
Nos 2 and 3 have bay windows; the bay window at No 2 is squared and has similar ornamentation to the first-floor cill band, while No 3 has a modern, splayed bay window. It appears that a bay window may have been removed from No 1. The entrances have cross frame windows above, with No 2 having three-light windows and Nos 1 and 3 featuring modern casement glazing.
No 3 includes a doorcase with a pedimented and stucco-decorated lintel, leading to an arched panelled door. The window above this door and the one at No 2 share similar decorative details. The rear of Nos 1 and 2 has been modernised, while No 3 has an extension with sash windows.
Inside No 2, the first-floor drawing room retains arched niches and an elaborate deep cornice with interlace decoration, although the cornice over the bay window has been removed, possibly to accommodate a Victorian pelmet.
