Description
3 Chapel Row is part of a two-storey terrace consisting of six one-window units located in Llandderfel. The building is constructed from local slatestone rubble, featuring slatestone lintels and rough-dressed quoins on number 1. It has a continuous slate roof with a tiled ridge and shared brick chimneys, except for the left chimney, which has restored upper courses. Each unit has an entrance with a single window on either the right or left side, with the entrances on the left for numbers 1, 2, and 4, and on the right for the others. Numbers 5 and 6 have original flush four-panel doors, and there is a similar door on the far right leading to a rear yard; the other doors are modern and part-glazed. Numbers 1, 3, 4, and 5 still have narrow rectangular overlights, which are original features. All units, except number 2 and the ground-floor window of number 3, have original recessed, unhorned 12-pane sash windows; number 3's ground-floor window has been replaced with a modern wooden bow window. There is a modern slated canopy porch on number 3. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
