Description
The forecourt walls are made of coursed stone and feature a coping. They have an advanced central entrance that is flanked by deep volute scrolls. The entrance has a segmental arch with a lion's head keystone. On either side of the entrance, there are ironwork gates and railings with an anthemion pattern, which are finished on the right with a ball finial. The wall is splayed at the corners, also topped with ball finials, and includes raised lettering that reads "Plas Menai." The wall steps up twice to connect with the front of the house.
