Description
Church Lodge entrance features square ashlar gate piers that have a slightly projecting plinth and cornice, topped with globe finials. The entrance is flanked by curved walls made of rubble masonry, which have a stressed course beneath a rendered capping. The wall to the right of the entrance has a smaller globe finial at the far right and a ramping slope leading to the end. This wall continues as a low rubble wall with railings above, ending in a rubble plinth with a cornice and another globe finial on top. There is a hole for a bell-pull directly to the right of the entrance, along with a barred opening that serves as a viewing hole in the curved wall to the right.
