Description

Farm Lodge is an estate lodge built in the Arts and Crafts style. It is a single-storey building with an attic and has a square plan, featuring a lean-to extension on the right side. The structure is made of stone and roughcast render, topped with a pyramidal green slate roof that has projecting feathered eaves and yellow clay ridge tiles. The roof rises to central cruciform plan brick stacks that have rendered caps. The entrance is set back in the left angle of the building, and the facing wall includes a circular 9-pane light. There are single 3-light, small-paned side-hung casement windows on the front and left sides, as well as two at the rear. Each side of the roof has flat-roofed mineral-fetted dormers, which feature similarly detailed windows and slate-hung cheeks.
