Description

The walls of the enclosed garden to the west of Llanidan Hall are constructed of rubble masonry and feature cambered coping. These walls were built in the early 17th century using stone sourced from a medieval monastic grange. They include re-set doorways, with a significant doorway in the east wall that has a massive stone lintel shaped with a segmental soffit. Additionally, there is a pointed arched doorway in the north wall, which also has a massive stone lintel made of two parts and large stone jambs with moulded chamfers.
