Description
The building is a two-storey, two-window house and shop, featuring rendered walls and a steep slate roof with a skylight and a stone stack on the right side. The lower storey has a replaced door at the right end that leads to the upper storeys, with a replacement window to the left in an 18th-century opening. On the left side, there is a shop that includes a half-glazed door and a plate glass shop window above a simple tiled stallriser, both supported by panelled pilasters and topped with a plain fascia. The upper storey features 16-pane hornless sash windows.
At the rear, there is a single-storey flat-roofed projection. The upper storey contains two small-pane casement windows, with the left-hand window retaining part of a 16th-century dressed surround and drip mould. There are also two modern raked roof dormers and a larger raked dormer on the right.
The lower storey has been converted into a single room and retains two cross beams; the middle storey is reported by the owner to have similar beams. On the right side, there is a high arched fireplace.
