Description

This is a two-stage chimney stack made of coursed rubble stone with freestone dressings and quoins, located on the sea wall at the rear of 51 Castle Street. The lower stage sits on the sea wall and is flanked on both sides by later sections of wall. The upper stage is narrower than the lower. At the top, there is a freestone castellated cap that rests on a deep corbel table.
