The building is single storey and made of stugged ashlar. It has an L-plan layout on the westbound side. Facing the platform, there is a low range featuring a wide three-light window in the central waiting room and a lower gabled block on the western gable. To the east, there is an advanced gable bay with a canted window. The east-facing block has three bays, with a central door flanked by two windows. A porch is located in the re-entrant angle to the south. The roof is slate with coped end stacks.
