Description
Carrat Burn consists of two adjacent single span, semicircular arch bridges built from rubble. The early 18th century packhorse bridge is 1.2 meters wide and has a span of 3.4 meters. Next to it is a later 18th century bridge that is 3 meters wide and has a span of 4.7 meters. Together, these bridges create a single structure that is 4.2 meters wide, designed to carry coaches.
