Description

Braendam House is a two-storey, three-window mansion originally built between 1742 and 1744, with substantial alterations around 1790 that brought it to its present appearance. The house has a piended roof. The ground floor features tripartite lunette windows on either side of an unfluted Roman Doric column porch. The first floor has large tripartite windows, and the second floor has single windows. Building dates are confirmed by P.A. Joynson, Esq.
