Description
Mossview is an early 20th-century building comprising a two-storey, two-bay Edwardian shop with living accommodation, and a four-bay rear wing facing a lane. The front of the building is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, while the gable, side, and rear elevations are harled. The original shop front features a recessed central entrance door with panelled and glazed sections, a dentil cornice, and a rectangular fanlight above. Two shop windows are flanked by slender colonettes and outer pilasters, and topped with a dentil corniced fascia. Two first-floor oriel windows are supported on decorative timber brackets, each topped with a piended, canted dormerhead. The roof is slate-covered, with brick stacks at the ends. The rear wing is of a simpler, plainer design.
