2 Garyvard, Main Street, Buchlyvie

4 Garyvard on Main Street in Buchlyvie was formerly a group of cottages, built partly in the mid to late 18th century and partly in the early 19th century. The building is a two-storey, L-plan range constructed of rubble, which is painted in some areas, with some sections featuring tooled and chamfered margins. It has sash and case windows.

The High Street frontage, located at the right and adjoining Mill Cottage, dates from the mid to late 18th century. This section consists of four bays, likely originally housing two or three dwellings. It features a central pend flanked by a door and a window on each side, along with four first-floor windows. There is a moulded eaves course and a slate roof, which was originally thatched. At the rear, there is a forestair with a corrugated asbestos roof.

To the left, the structure is probably from the early 19th century and has irregular door and window openings. It features a squared eaves course and a piended slate roof on the east side. The return to the lane shows three bays with a central door and two windows, plus one additional window at ground level and two windows on the first floor.
