Description
3 Royal Gardens is a later Victorian, two-storey terrace of four houses built from snecked rubble. The design gives the appearance of large semi-detached houses, with gabled doorpieces on the end houses. Each pair of houses features two windows, one of which is bipartite, and canted bays on both floors. The doorpieces are concave and tripartite, supported by unusual sculptured consoles, and there are hood moulds above the windows. The plans for the houses are reversed. The gables are built from rubble and have three windows, with central doorpieces and twin wallhead chimneys. There is a modern dormer at No 3, and the roof is slated and platformed.
