Description

The building is a village hall, originally constructed in 1825 and reconstructed in 1953. It has a rectangular plan with a square tower at its western end, and includes more recent additions. The exterior is smooth grey render with a pattern of long and short work. It features three plain glazed lancet windows on each side. The building forms an unusual architectural group with the adjacent church. It is referenced in publications concerning Scottish post-Reformation churches.
