Newhousemill Cottages, 3 Newhousemill Road

Newhousemill Cottages, located at 2 Newhousemill Road, are a row of three single-storey cottages built in the early 19th century, with later alterations. They are constructed from squared and snecked rubble, featuring quoins and raised margins on the end cottage, and have an identical design for each cottage.

On the northwest (front) elevation, each cottage has a central door, with two small windows on the right side and two more, spaced further apart, on the left side. The northeast elevation is blind, with a painted square indicating the location of an old outbuilding. The southeast (rear) elevation includes a door with an adjoining window in the first bay, and the first cottage on the left has a trio of windows. There is a modern conservatory attached to the central cottage and a modern extension on the right-hand side cottage. The southwest elevation features an attached outbuilding.

The cottages have modern glazing and a slate roof with straight skews, short coped stacks at the gable ends, and shared stacks.
