Description
Garrion Bridge, located over the River Clyde in Dalserf, was built in 1817. It features a three-span design with segmental arches made of cream sandstone. The bridge has a solid droved ashlar parapet topped with a flat ashlar coping and a droved string course beneath it. The polished semicircular-plan piers are complemented by semicircular refuges above polished semicircular cutwaters, with a thick string course in between. The spandrels and voussoirs are bull-faced, while the soffits are droved and the abutments are polished. There is a date panel and inscription at the northwest terminal, which was partly re-erected in 1985.
