Description
35-37 West Port is a mid-19th century asymmetrical two-storey house, with part of it featuring an attic. The building has three wide bays, with one bay gabled facing the street. It is constructed of snecked rubble, with painted flush margins and dressings. The entrance door is off-centre, with two windows to the left. To the right, in the gabled bay, there is a wide pend supported by moulded stone brackets under the lintel. On the first floor, there are two bipartite windows to the left and a canted oriel window in the gabled bay. Additionally, there is a single light hood moulded window located in the gable head. The cornice features a forward break at the quoins and at the base of the gable skews. The roof has straight skews, with one gable end and two axial stacks.
