Description

Bystone House Lodge is an Arts and Crafts style lodge, built around 1929, designed by Stewart C Paterson of Glasgow. It is an L-plan building of single storey and attic height. The exterior is white-harled, with contrasting red brick dressings and a swept-eaved red tile roof, and features a massive brick axial stack. The main, or east, elevation is largely a piended end wall, with an open porch set into an angle to the right, and a mullioned window extending along the return. The windows have leaded glazing, and there is a brick band below the eaves. Flat-roofed dormers are also present. The statutory address is Bystone Lodge.
