Description

Glenapp Castle is a Scottish Baronial mansion built in 1870 by architect David Bryce for Mr. James Hunter, who had acquired the estate in 1864. The building was subsequently altered and enlarged following its purchase by Lord Inchcape. Further details are provided in “Castle & Mansions of Ayrshire” by A.H.
