Description

Later 19th century. Single storey and attic, 6-bay mirrored pair of cottages. Polished ashlar; rubble to sides. Base course; cornice. Decorative finials at attic.

NE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: entrances to penultimate bays to outer left and right; round-arched, keyblocked doorpieces rise from pilaster strips; patera frieze; consoled dentilled cornices; timber doors; fanlights. Bipartite windows to inner bays; moulded labelmoulds; scrolled scallop motif within; canted outer bays. Central small round-arched dormers at attic; flanking canted dormers. Timber gate to 6A to outer right.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; stone skews; moulded skewputts; corniced gablehead stacks; circular cans.

INTERIORS: not seen 1998.

BOUNDARY WALL: low coped rubble boundary wall; replacement iron entrance gates to outer left and right.
