Description
Voe House is a late 18th century, two-storey and attic, five-bay symmetrical country house. It features a gabled porch that projects at the center, with single-bay lean-to wings flanking the gables, and a gabled single-storey wing that projects at the rear. The house has margined windows with projecting cills, although there are modern openings in the wings and porch. There are single windows to the left and right at the attic level of the west and east gables, respectively.
The windows are timber sash and case, with 12 panes at the ground floor and plate glass at the first floor of the principal elevation, while the west and east gables have 9 and 12 panes, respectively. The roofs are covered with purple grey slate, and there are five flue apex stacks with circular cans on the gables.
In addition, there is a garden wall made of random rubble that bounds the west side of the garden, featuring square rubble piers at the gateway located at the south end, adjacent to the house.
