Description
North Western Mill, located at Norse Mills by the Loch Of Breck, is a pair of substantial horizontal mills built in the later 19th century. They are situated to the north and south of a stream and are connected by a stone slab footbridge. The mills feature drystone rubble walls and follow the standard design of rectangular gabled drystone rubble buildings, which contain upper and lower houses with square openings for inlet and outlet. The mills have been roofless since 1996.
