Description

  1. 2 x 2 bay symmetrical hall church with entrance porch projecting at E gable. Harl pointed rubble walls with stugged and droved sandstone dressings and details. Gabled stone porch with pointed arched door containing modern 2 leaf glazed timber entrance doors and 3 pane fanlight in arch head; narrow louvered opening centred in principal gable behind; gabled bellcote (bell in situ) on rectangular plinth at apex. Regularly fenestrated side and rear elevations with pointed- arched windows in each bay.

9 pane fixed lights to side elevations, pair of pointed arched stained glass windows of 1936 in W gable depicting religious scenes. Purple grey slate roof with skew copes removed.

INTERIOR: timber fittings in hall including vertically boarded wainscoting, pews, lining to ceiling, platform pulpit along W wall with ball finialled newels to balustrade.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND GATEPIERS: rubble wall with semicircular concrete cope enclosing rectangular kirkyard; square harl-pointed gatepiers with pyramidal caps to E.
