Description

The Walled Garden at Langton House, likely designed by David Bryce in the later 19th century, is located to the west of Langton Mains. It features a rectangular layout enclosed by a tall red brick wall, which is adorned with stugged ashlar Jacobean dressings. The wall includes buttresses between each bay and has shouldered surrounds to brick recesses. At the top, there is an ashlar parapet with moulded coping that is raised to the center of each bay, forming a segmental pediment. Ball finials are positioned above the buttresses.
