Description
This building, located at 8 High Street in Jedburgh, dates back to the early 19th century and is a four-storey, three-bay tenement. It features cream coursed rubble with a modern shop front that includes plate glass display windows beneath a cornice on the ground floor, along with a narrow pend to the right leading to Grahamslaw Close. The building has long and short ashlar margins, and the windows on the third floor are shorter, positioned against the eaves. The windows are 12-pane timber sash and case, with 6-pane windows on the third floor. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there is a rendered stack. At the rear, there is a large three-storey, eight-bay rubble range that consists of two building phases, which features stugged ashlar margins flanking the close to the south.
