Description
Fenwick is a late 17th-century building that incorporates earlier fabric. While the interior has been largely modernised, and the exterior to a lesser extent, the lintel above the door bears the initials "RS" and "ME" and is dated 1687. Historical records, including the Register of the Great Seal of Scotland and a map from 1636-62, suggest the presence of earlier fabric predating this date. A range of associated outbuildings are also present.
