Description
The Walled Garden at Eccles House dates from the early to mid 19th century and has a near rectangular plan covering approximately 3000 square metres. It is enclosed by coped red brick walls, with a harl-pointed rubble outer elevation on the north side. The west side features a combination of harl-pointed rubble and red brick walls, while the south side has a lower harl-pointed rubble wall topped with full-width spearheaded iron railings. There is an iron pedestrian entry gate located in the southeast corner and a boarded timber door on the north side.
