Description

Park Bridge, dated 1851, is a single-span estate bridge situated at Riddell Policies. The bridge crosses a burn and features stepped approaches and an ornamental balustrade. It is constructed from ashlar and roughly squared rubble, with a saddleback-coped parapet. A stepped, balustraded parapet is located centrally, bearing the inscription 'M 1851 S' at its base. A similar, late 18th century bridge (listed separately) is located to the south, crossing the Ale Water. The statutory address is Riddell Policies, Park Bridge (North).
