Description
No 4, West Green in Spittalfield is part of a row of four 3-bay, 2-storey units. The flats on the ground floor are accessed from the green, while the flats above are entered from the rear. The buildings are constructed of rubble with slated roofs, and the northernmost house features stucco with imitation ashlar facing. They date from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with one unit reconstructed in 1970. The group has been re-categorised as C(S) from B for its group interest in 2006. The listing applies to both the interior and exterior of the buildings, as is appropriate for this type of structure.
