Description

No 1, West Green in Spittalfield is part of a row of four two-storey units, each with three bays. The flats on the ground floor are accessed from the green, while the flats above are entered from the rear. The buildings are constructed of rubble with slated roofs, and the northernmost house features stucco with imitation ashlar facing. This row dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with one unit having been reconstructed in 1970.
