Description
Mitchell Buildings, located on Drummond Street in Comrie, likely dates to around 1782, though a query exists regarding a possible rebuilding around 1810. The buildings consist of two two-storey units, each with a three-window facade on the first floor, featuring windows with lying panes. They are constructed of whin ashlar with droved freestone dressings. A later mansard roof, covered in slates, has been added to the eastern part. Railed forestairs are situated at the rear. The eastern portion of the buildings holds group value only, reflecting alterations that have been carried out. The statutory address is Mitchell’s Building, Drummond Street.
