Gingerbread Cottage is a late 18th-century building featuring a single storey and an attic, constructed from rubble with lined-out pinnings. The street-facing side includes a Victorian shop front with a cast-iron column and one margined window. At the rear, there are two canted dormers and a wooden porch. The roofs are slated.
