Description

40 High Street and 38, Perth, is an early 19th-century building that stands four storeys tall with an attic. The exterior is stuccoed and features quoins. The wallhead gable is prominent, and the lower two floors were reconstructed as a bank between 1962 and 1963, with some partial restoration since then. The building has a five-window façade facing St John Street, with two of the windows being blind. The High Street side displays irregular fenestration, and there are two piended dormers on the slated roof.
