Description

Craighall is a mainly two-storey and basement building constructed from whinstone, featuring red sandstone dressings. It is designed in the Abbotsford-baronial style and dates from around 1825, incorporating earlier fragments. A three-storey south tower and an entrance porch were added around 1890 by the architect Andrew Heiton Junior from Perth. The building is situated dramatically on a cliff edge, 214 feet above the River Ericht.
