Description
40, 42, and 44 Tay Street in Perth is a three-storey office block built in 1872 by Andrew Heiton, designed in the Greek Revival style with influences from the Thomsonesque type. The building features an ashlar façade with a slightly angled frontage. It has four tripartite bays that are slightly advanced and pedimented, with sections of 6, 5, and 6 windows between them. The doorways are also pedimented and adorned with incised ornamentation.
