Description
The United Presbyterian Church at Kirk O' The Muir is an impressive Secession church that is currently long disused. It has a rectangular shape and features harled, whitewashed walls with stone margins. On the south front, there are two large square-headed sash windows, with a window and a door on each side. The north wall is blind. Inside, there is a low skylit gallery supported by cast iron columns on three sides. The pulpit has been dismantled. The church was built in 1830, as indicated by the inscription "B1744R 1830."
