Description

The Bruce Mortuary Chapel in Kinross is the central aisle of an old parish church that was built in 1675 and abandoned in 1742. It was reconstructed in 1860 to serve as the burial place for the Bruces of Arnot. The chapel has an oblong shape and is constructed of stugged ashlar stone. It features a stone-slabbed roof, inset tablets with dates, and mural tablets. There is a burial enclosure at the northern end.
